3rd Grade Kandinsky Pastels

3rd Grade Kandinsky Pastels

3rd graders looked at abstract works by the Russian painter, Wassily Kandinsky. Students were to create a drawing inspired by the lines, shapes, and colors they saw in Kandinsky's work. Students used oil pastels to create the drawings. All students were to work on the following learning targets:
- I can create an abstract drawing that is well balanced.
- I can blend colors that go well together.
- I can show careful use of craftsmanship in my work.
