2nd Grade Expressive Pumpkins!

Expressive Pumpkins!

2nd graders created expressive pumpkins using a combination of oil pastels, tempera paints, and collaged construction paper shapes. Students looked at a variety of facial expressions and were to show 3 different expressions in their artwork. Students were working on the following learning targets for this project:
- I can overlap objects in my drawing to show space.
- I can use different shapes and lines to create different expressions.
- I can show at least 3 different values (lights, mediums, and darks) of orange in my work.
